Consulting Services:
►Hourly Contracts for consultation, training & technical assistance --
Hourly consultation contracts are available. Generally, an hourly
contract is the same as above, with a 'pay by the hour' structure. Clients
that use this method may need to speak with a consultant on an infrequent
basis - but prefer to maintain the contract so that they can reach a
consultant quickly for important technical assistance. There is no minimum
balance requirement, however technical assistance cannot begin without a
signed contract. Hourly Clients can Call, Fax, or Email
their 'emergency' technical assistance questions for priority assistance.
►ComplianceWatch® Contracts
for consultation/training/technical assistance -
After establishing a consultation
relationship, organizations who place a high priority on using the best
practices in human resource management and on compliance with wage and hour
and EEO laws and requirements may be offered a ComplianceWatch®
contract. A ComplianceWatch®
contract requires an annual retainer
type payment with hours of service billed against the annual fee with a 20%
discount over our standard hourly rates. The ComplianceWatch®
contract enables a closer working relationship and provides the time for
regular management and staff training, compliance reviews, policy/handbook
review and writing and managing the employment process, including managing
difficult employees. The ComplianceWatch®
contract is ideal for employers who
may want to augment their human resource function with technical information
from our consultants. It is also ideal for organizations paying commensurate
wages and holding an FLSA Section 14( c) Special Minimum Wage Certificate
where regular reviews of time studies and hourly ratings are needed, annual
reviews of prevailing rate surveys, and biannual reviews of the certificate
renewal application before submission to the USDOL certification office.
ComplianceWatch® Clients can
Call, Fax, or Email their 'emergency' technical assistance questions for top
priority assistance.
►Association Presenters, Training Sessions & In-House Customized
Training --
MKAI consultants regularly present
conferences to employer and other types of associations, including local
chapter meetings of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, and
IPMA. MKAI is an approved training provider by HRCI, the Human Resource
Certification Institute, a division of SHRM, responsible for recertification
of HRM professionals who have earned the PHR, SPHR, and GPHR certifications.
Providing training at your association is the quickest and most economical
way to get current compliance and authoritative technical information to
your members. The combination of enforcement experience with the federal
agencies and the consultation and training experienced of our presenters is
unmatched by other trainers. Attendees consistently rate our associational
training as the very best they have had. Fees are per attendee, with a
minimum attendee number, depending on the length of the conference, travel
expenses, and materials furnished. Associational attendee fees are about
one-half our public conference rates which allow associations to generate
significant revenue from the conference. All training conferences include a
bound detailed manual with resources. For more information, call our office
or complete the web
form.
